PRESIDENT’S CORNER

By Julia Long

What a wonderful Christmas party! There was a delicious meal - many thanks to Audrey Carpenter and Linda Brinson and Susanne Azevedo and Dennis Isgitt and Mary Hutson and Chandler Schwede for planning and food, and to everyone else who so generously contributed. Music was provided by the glorious voice of Joel Rogers from Deer Park Baptist Church- thank you so much! More thanks to Doug Azevedo for being our MC and game-leader, and to Anil Rao for helping with the door prize awarding. It was wonderful to see so many faithful long-time members, some of our new members, and some of our friends from Northwood Estates and The Lakes, all gathered to enjoy each other's company. It's all too easy to take neighbors for granted, and miss opportunities to be together. Time goes by, and missed opportunities can't be retrieved. Please join us this month at our regular meeting to discuss neighborhood business and get to know each other better.
